Parents As Teachers (PAT) Home Visitor
Department: HUB
Reports To: Superintendent, PAT Coordinator, and Team Leader
Contract: 240 Days
Salary: Classified Salary Schedule – Level VII C
The PAT Home Visitor supports families with children prenatal through age five by delivering home-based parent education, child development support, and family engagement services in accordance with the Parents As Teachers model.
Essential Duties- Conduct home visits and parent education activities.
- Complete required assessments, documentation, and reporting.
- Maintain communication and positive relationships with families.
- Connect families with community resources and support services.
- Participate in meetings, training, certification requirements, and continuous program improvement.
- Assist with family recruitment and program activities.n
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with young children and families preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, technology, and confidentiality skills.
