Job Summary:

This position exists for the purposes of providing leadership, administration, and teaching within the Master of Divinity program.

Employee Type:
Faculty 12 Month

Status:
Full-time/Exempt

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • A general understanding of higher education and a more specific understanding of seminary and graduate education.
  • A general awareness of the operation and philosophy of Lancaster Bible College Seminary and Graduate School.
  • A clear understanding of the organizational structure of the College and its various departments.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the mission, theological position, educational philosophy, and Christian life of Lancaster Bible College, Seminary and Graduate School.

  • Ability to direct master's level studies and research.
  • Recognized contribution through teaching and writing or the potential for such a contribution.

  • The ability to work in a team context within the School of Bible & Ministry.

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

  • Provide administrative oversight of the Master of Divinity program.
  • Provide direction and support to the directors of the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Master of Arts in Ministry programs.
