Pay Range: $1,440 - $2,000 per credit hour (prorated)
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months’ salary unless otherwise specified.

The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University is seeking a Part-time Instructor to teach CSD 671 – Advanced Clinical Audiology II (Fall 2026 semester).
Course
Description:
Concepts and practice in screening and diagnostic audiology, including clinical decision analysis, otoacoustic emissions, wideband acoustic immittance, and clinical applications of auditory evoked potentials.
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per‑credit‑rate‑history within the hiring department. All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
Qualifications- Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Audiology
- Current CCC in Audiology
- Developing and/or updating a class syllabus.
- Ordering the appropriate books and materials in advance of the class start date.
- Preparing lectures, projects or other student assignments.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours of two hours per week.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the class.
- Meeting all designated class periods. If you are unable to meet with your class due to illness or emergency, you should exercise your best effort to reschedule the class or to obtain a substitute. You must also notify the department chair or their designated contact of your absence and of your plan to cover the class.
- Working with the academic unit to maintain student learning outcomes.
- Submitting completed final grades according to University regulations.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
- Completing all other course-related duties as outlined by your department’s policies for part-time instructors.
