* ** JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
** The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for two part-time research assistants to start in fall 2026. The successful candidates will assist Dr. Brian Lee for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

* Job Duties:
*** Answering student questions
* Hosting office hours (three hours per week)
* Grading assignments (typically biweekly)
* Searching the business press for teaching materials
* Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
*
* Required Qualifications:
*** Current undergraduate or graduate student at Penn State
* Completion of MIS 301 at Penn State or a similar course at a comparable institution
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (e.g., Excel VBA)
* Good knowledge of MS Access, Gephi, and Tableau
** Compensation:
** Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
