Several positions open to The University of Texas at Austin undergraduate students only
PurposeOnRamps Course Graders support course management in the OnRamps College Algebra course through grading of student assessments. They also provide sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects.
Responsibilities- Maintain accuracy and consistency while grading course assignments and assessments in Canvas Learning Management System
- Attend calibration meetings and participate in training to align feedback and deepen transferrable skills
- Assist with seasonal and urgent projects that align to the OnRamps mission
- Current undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Mathematics or a related field (such as Engineering or Physics).
- Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Equation Editor. Experience with Canvas LMS.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications- Interest in and knowledge of local, state, and national dual-enrollment and college-readiness initiatives.
- Expert computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Equation editor.
- Experiences with Smartsheet.
$12.00 - $14.50 hourly
Working Conditions- May work around standard office conditions.
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
