Job Title
Revise, develop, and evaluate non-technical course sections. Work with subject matter experts to revise and develop technical course sections. Analyze course requirements, learning objectives, and applicable educational methodologies. Provide instructional delivery of training courses. Support dissemination, retrieval, and removal of course material in electronic format on workstations, tablets, and mobile devices. Facilitate classroom activities such as classroom setup, student orientation, roll call, notifications of changes, maintenance of class roster, submission of final grades, student forms, reports, and recommendations for improvement.
Identify the need for additional classroom resources. Use course curriculum to help ensure operational objectives are achieved. Support remote based or cloud-based software used for course material control with students and instructors.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in education or related field, or equivalent experience, to include 24 semester hours in at least four of the following five areas (or equivalent): (1) Learning theory, psychology of learning, educational psychology; (2) Instructional design practices; (3) Educational evaluation; (4) Instructional product development; or (5) Computers in education and training. A Master's Degree with the appropriate major meets the basic education requirements.
Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction. Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired. Must be able to obtain Public Trust Security clearance.
