What you will do:
- Teach Applied Economics for Managers in the Business School, typically three credit hours.
- Deliver tailored instruction to diverse language and cultural backgrounds in accordance with prescribed curricular objectives.
- Prepare balanced, rigorous lesson plans in advance of each class.
- Assess student progress according to curricular objectives and outcomes.
- Adhere to program policies and procedures, including reporting student offenses such as plagiarism, cheating, and absences.
The salary for the position is $15,000 for one 8‑week course. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in finance or a closely related field.
- Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline, interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate in business or a related discipline, or a terminal degree approved by the Business School’s faculty.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and proficiency in the related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in mentoring and teaching.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership qualities.
- Ability to independently plan, establish, and implement teaching goals and objectives without guidance.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all institutional levels.
- Relevant sustained relationships or experiences with business through consulting or other significant professional activities.
This position may require occasional evening or weekend work. The role follows a hybrid structure, allowing remote work or office work based on task demands, with office presence encouraged for collaborative tasks.
Mental, Physical, and/or Environmental RequirementsThe candidate must be able to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasionally, reach with hands and arms, manipulate a keyboard and mouse, and have good near vision for computer work. Minimal lifting is required; occasional bending or reaching to retrieve items from shelves or drawers may occur.
