Location

We serve the students of Houston, Texas, the 4th largest city across the United States. Over 20 public‑school districts and charter options are within Houston’s city limits, serving our growing population.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Enrollment
    • Creating and leading recruitment and enrollment efforts for your campus, acting as liaison between campus personnel and Home Office on all lottery‑related issues.
    • Offering seats in a timely manner and ensuring campus is at or near enrollment year‑average.
    • Monitoring progress toward goals and making timely adjustments to meet recruitment benchmarks.
    • Ensuring new families are effectively engaged from application through registration and the first day of school.
    • Ensuring compliance with all state, federal and organizational policies and procedures concerning student data.
    • Leading the work of ensuring 100% of new students and families receive high‑quality onboarding.
  • Recruitment Events & Application Management
    • Creating a campus‑specific recruitment strategy and coordinating all recruitment efforts.
    • Executing student recruitment strategies targeting families within a 5‑mile radius of the assigned campus.
    • Maintaining and cultivating a solid waitlist after lottery via timely communication and sustained recruitment efforts.
    • Building community connections by attending community events, fairs, tabling events, and engaging regularly.
    • Monitoring quality of applications and marking eligibility in a timely manner.
  • Academic Classroom Coverage
    • Supporting the Director of Campus Operations with securing internal and external coverage for all staff on PTO.
    • Communicating expectations of coverage assignments to all stakeholders.
    • Creating a system and materials for all guest teachers on campus.
  • Front Office Service Quality
    • Ensuring all locations on campus are free of clutter and well organized for visitors.
    • Assisting coverage of front desk as needed during the school year and summer programming, greeting visitors, answering and processing incoming calls efficiently, and signing in/out students.
    • Overseeing daily administrative operations and resolving day‑to‑day front office issues.
    • Assisting in maintaining office security: I.D. badges provided to all employees and students.
  • Annual Enrollment Forms
    • Checking and reviewing a variety of data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to established standards and procedures.
    • Supporting a strong strategy to market, follow up, and track annual enrollment forms for all students.
  • Campus Safety
    • Taking all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
    • Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with monthly safety drills and supporting personnel in emergencies.
  • Internal & External Communication
    • Serving as point of contact for daily facilities and custodial needs on campus.
    • Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with supervision of the school’s auxiliary services and communicating necessary adjustments (transportation, child nutrition, vendor relationships).
    • Conducting bus audits, sharing routes, and communicating changes to parents.
    • Processing approved event requests, collaborating with event hosts, and coordinating logistics for successful execution.
