Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts
The Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the fields of;
Music, Art, and/ or Theatre.
Job Responsibilities:
- 60%- Development of course materials in the fields of Music, Art, and/ or Theatre which entails but is not limited to; timely submission of course syllabus' and supporting course materials to Division. Instruction of course materials in the fields of;
Music, Art, and/ or Theatre which entails but is not limited to; timely communication of all grades to students and the Division and timely submission of Student Learning Outcomes to the Division. - 35%- Office hours
- 5%- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- OR Master's degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related Fine Arts field from a regionally accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- 2 years teaching experience both in-person and on-line.
- Advanced Competencies in the following:
- Ability to teach effectively and incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to maximize learning
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, faculty, and staff
