Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts

The Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the fields of;
Music, Art, and/ or Theatre.

Job Responsibilities:

• 60%- Development of course materials in the fields of Music, Art, and/ or Theatre which entails but is not limited to; timely submission of course syllabus' and supporting course materials to Division. Instruction of course materials in the fields of;
  Music, Art, and/ or Theatre which entails but is not limited to; timely communication of all grades to students and the Division and timely submission of Student Learning Outcomes to the Division.
• 35%- Office hours
• 5%- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• OR Master's degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related Fine Arts field from a regionally accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• 2 years teaching experience both in-person and on-line.
• Advanced Competencies in the following:
• Ability to teach effectively and incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to maximize learning
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, faculty, and staff
