Position OverviewThis full‑time, tenure‑track position requires the successful candidate to teach four courses per semester and engage in service activities such as program development, course development, program assessment, program accreditation, and committee leadership. The inaugural cybersecurity professor will focus on high‑quality research and scholarship while providing instruction in a comprehensive range of undergraduate Cybersecurity and Information Technology courses, including Foundations of Cybersecurity, Network Administration, Cloud Security, Computer Forensics, Computer Networks, and Programming.
Responsibilities- Teach four undergraduate courses per semester in cybersecurity and information technology.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate courses, contributing to the program’s curriculum and assessment initiatives.
- Participate in program development and accreditation efforts, serving on relevant committees.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer‑reviewed venues within the field of cybersecurity or information technology.
- Doctoral degree (ABD considered) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Information Technology and Computer Science.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using technology in teaching and delivering courses in multiple modalities (hybrid, online, and face‑to‑face).
- Evidence of significant academic research and/or applied experience in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Experience working in a campus environment with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.
- Experience developing both face‑to‑face and online courses.
- Experience in curriculum development and program assessment.
- Evidence of research or professional work in cybersecurity.

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on campus, with flexible work arrangements and occasional remote work.
