- Develop, modify, or adopt a syllabus appropriate to the course.
- Vet course textbooks and select or create instructional materials.
- Plan and deliver lectures, design assessments, and organize course content within Canvas, Rutgers’ Learning Management System.
- Respond to student questions on a daily basis and provide timely feedback on assignments.
- Post weekly announcements outlining course content and deadlines.
- Facilitate student interaction and offer virtual office hours as needed.
- Comply with grade submission policies and deadlines.
- Master’s degree preferred; doctoral degrees acceptable.
- Teaching experience and/or relevant professional experience required.
- Professional certification in the discipline, where applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging online and in‑person instruction.
- Minimum of $2,777 per credit unit.
- Final salary may be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, departmental or grant funding.
