Overview
This position is not part of the classified personnel system; applications will be accepted from Residents and Non-Residents of Colorado. Incumbent will be required to live in and complete work for CDE within Colorado.

Description of JobWork Environment
This position is full-time, funded by state funds (availability dependent), and eligible for a hybrid work environment.

Position Summary
The Educator Talent Associate Program Manager leads and oversees administration of Educator Talent grant programs, including program structures, applications, and evaluation support. This role supports the Educator Talent Program Manager by providing project management expertise in HR, recruitment and hiring, procurement, accounting, budgeting, policy, systems management, and communication. The role acts as a liaison to multiple parties (Department staff, state education agencies, stakeholders, vendors) to interpret needs while ensuring program integrity.
The final salary is anticipated to fall within the posted range but may vary based on qualifications and internal equity.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Creates, implements, and leads Educator Talent grant programs, including grant applications, administration, reviews, technical support, process improvement, and communications to grantees.
- Distributes funds to grantees in coordination with Grants Fiscal Office and provides technical assistance.
- Leads and facilitates rule development for grant-related efforts in the Educator Talent division.
- Develops evaluation plans, creates consistent grant evaluation processes, conducts evaluations, and prepares legislatively mandated reports and presentations.
- Collaborates with Educator Talent offices to integrate retention and recruitment grants, monitors implementation and impact, and connects grantees with districts and educator preparation agencies.
