Role:
Lecturer in Psychology, teaching up to 10 hours per week.

• Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Psychology courses up to 10 hours per week.
• Organize and teach all levels of Psychology classes.
• Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning.
• Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, including distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses.
• Assess Student Learning Outcomes each semester.
• Participate in department, division, and college‑wide initiatives and committees, if desired.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

• Master’s degree in Psychology; or
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology AND a Master’s in Counseling, Sociology, Statistics, Neuroscience, or Social Work; or
• Equivalent experience.

• Life or teaching experience that demonstrates a clear ability to teach Psychology to community college students.

Physical demands range from Step 1 to Step 7 based on degree and teaching experience.

Salary: $47.07 - $78.42 per lecture hour (USD).
