Job DescriptionWhitman School of Management is seeking Part‑Time Faculty for EEE 110, Discover the Entrepreneur Within, Fall 2026, in‑person.
Course description:
Self‑exploration of issues surrounding creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship (CIE) as they apply to all facets of life. Students apply their creative potential in various contexts, including a community‑based social entrepreneurship project. Students must be enrolled in the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Learning Community.
- Experience working with undergraduate students in an entrepreneurship center and/or teaching entrepreneurship.
- Experience teaching at the university‑level is preferred.
- Understanding and appreciation for the role of EEE in business.
- Availability and willingness to teach on campus.
- Availability during existing course times throughout the fall semester.
- Preparation of lectures, projects, and other student assignments, in collaboration with the EEE department.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance level of the course.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Submitting completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations and school/college‑level policies.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned form for completing student evaluations.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty members.
- Other responsibilities as indicated.
