Position: Become a Mentor (Remote or In-Person)

Empowering DREAMERS

We provide critical support during key life stages K-12, college, and the transition into adulthood. Our programs are tailored to benefit all youth, with a special focus on those in underserved communities.

Our DREAM mentoring program offers a range of services:

  • Academic Support – tutoring, college counseling, and academic resources.
  • Career Development – career exploration, job readiness training, and internship opportunities.
  • Wellness Programs – healthy lifestyles through fitness activities, nutrition education, and mental health support.
  • Mentorship and Wraparound Services – personalized mentorship and support through programs such as summer feeding and holiday gifting.
Volunteer Mentorship Opportunity

Dream It Forward Foundation is seeking compassionate, dependable mentors to help inspire and empower youth ages 8–25 through meaningful one‑on‑one relationships. This is a volunteer mentorship opportunity designed to create lasting impact through consistent support and positive connection. Most mentoring relationships will take place virtually, with additional in‑person opportunities possible for mentors located near participating families.

Mentors are encouraged to meet with their mentee on a regular schedule, provide encouragement and accountability, listen without judgment, model positive decision‑making, support goal setting, and help youth build confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and career readiness. Conversations may include academics, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, college and career exploration, STEM, mental wellness, life skills, or personal development.

Qualifications

Mentors must be at least 18 years old and willing to complete an onboarding process that includes an application, interview, reference checks, and background screening. Selected mentors receive orientation and ongoing support from the Foundation team.

Benefits

As a mentor, you play a direct role in helping young people discover their strengths, build confidence, and prepare for a successful future. Whether you can contribute one hour a week or a few hours each month, your time and encouragement can have a lifelong impact. Join our growing community of mentors.
