Position: Regional Coordinator, Georgia Recruitment

The Office of Undergraduate Admission seeks enthusiastic candidates to represent the University of Arizona and its Enrollment Management division. The Regional Coordinator of Georgia Recruitment will lead all Atlanta‑based recruitment efforts, overseeing travel, budget, and student communication. The role involves extensive travel, creative outreach, and the interpretation of admissions policies to attract prospective students.

Travel and Territory Management
  • Serve as a primary resource for prospective students and families to support recruitment, application process, and enrollment.
  • Plan, organize, and attend recruitment and yield events, including day, evening, and weekend activities.
  • Identify, register, and attend high‑school and college visits, fairs, and other opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Manage the budget for the territory, purchase travel expenses, and submit timely expense reports.
  • Assist regional admission staff with recruitment events and programs as needed.
  • Travel frequently to in‑state and out‑of‑state meetings and events.
  • Communicate the value of an Arizona education through conversations, presentations, and written communication.
  • Provide initial financial aid and scholarship guidance.
  • Support students to complete applications by submitting materials and required documents on time.
  • Oversee the management of the territory market to establish benchmarks and meet recruitment goals.
Application Review
  • Read, evaluate, and recommend admissions decisions via a comprehensive application review model.
  • Counsel applicants, parents, and counselors on the application process, admissions decisions, and merit scholarships.
  • Apply training and judgment to consider each student’s academic history and life experiences.
  • Participate in committee review and shared decision‑making.
  • Use Technologies Slate CRM and analytical tools to maintain a data‑driven, bias‑free process aligned with university goals.
Relationship Building
  • Counsel prospective students and families on admissions, financial aid, academic programs, and student life.
  • Maintain professional affiliations at local, regional, and national levels.
  • Communicate via SMS, email, and phone, ensuring active engagement and timely follow‑up.
  • Accurately record engagement and interactions across multiple university systems.
  • Develop partnerships with community college advisors and other partners.
  • Coordinate with college counselors and advisors to nurture relationships.
Strategic Recruitment
  • Research, design, and implement strategic recruitment activities with leadership.
  • Coordinate recruitment programs, projects, and events.
  • Use analytical tools and research skills to identify new opportunities.
  • Stay current on higher‑education and admissions topics.
  • Liaise with campus partners and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the university at professional conferences and related events.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Familiarity with Technologies Slate CRM.
  • Experience helping students in higher‑education settings.
  • Strong oral and written communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to manage competing responsibilities.
  • Self‑direction and proactive goal achievement.
  • Commitment to high‑level customer service.
  • Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
  • Relationship‑building skills with educators, students, and families.
  • Knowledge of FERPA regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive; own transportation and statewide travel availability.
  • Fingerprint clearance upon hire.
  • Valid passport; international travel required.
  • Reside or relocate to the greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Higher‑education experience.
  • Remote work experience.
Salary & Benefits

Rate of pay: $47,356 – $59,195 plus 5–10% geographic differential. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week). Eligibility for full benefits. Compensation will be based on role, experience, education, and internal equity considerations.
