Position Overview
Department of Human-Centered Computing at Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indianapolis invites applicants for a Lecturer appointment in the online Human-Computer Interaction Program. This is a teaching-focused faculty position. The appointment will begin August 1, 2024. The role can be in-person, remote, or hybrid-based.
Responsibilities- Teach online courses in the Human‑Computer Interaction Program.
- Develop courses and help set program goals.
- Develop and continually update the curriculum and training activities.
- Contribute to the recruitment and marketing of the program.
- Interview, evaluate, and advise students.
- Engage in scholarly activity.
- Serve as a member of the school and departmental committees.
- Maintain current knowledge in the field through active participation in professional organizations, collaboration, practice, and research; and serve on professional committees.
