Instructor – Health & Physical Education (Reg FT)

Boyce Campus - Salary: $46,781 – $52,940 (10-month teaching positions, rank determined by collective bargaining agreement)
- Remote Work Option:
Fully In-Person - Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (additional evening/weekend hours may be required)
The primary responsibilities of faculty are to teach and develop the curriculum.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education or related field for activity classes (master’s preferred for lecture classes).
- Teaching experience required for lecture classes; preferred for activity classes.
- Current CPR and AED certifications required for all instructors.
- Certification to teach Health and Physical Education preferred.

- Participate in program and discipline activities related to curriculum development and implementation.
- Contribute to program reviews and strategic planning with recommendations for curriculum, staffing, facilities, and equipment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Integrate relevant educational technology tools into teaching.
- Participate in department, division, campus, and college meetings and committees.
- Maintain weekly office hours as required by the CBA.
- Perform other related duties as outlined in the CBA.
