Pay Range: $10,000 Per course (3-credits)
Pay Determination:
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months' salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description:
Whitman School of Management is looking for one person to teach a section of FIN
400 – Wealth Management during the Fall 2026 semester. The course introduces students to the foundational principles, structures, and practices of wealth management. It explores the evolving role of financial advisors, the tools, products, and solutions they use, and the regulatory and ethical frameworks that guide their work. Students will gain exposure to both traditional and alternative investment vehicles, advisor compensation models and transition packages, and the strategic considerations involved in implementing solutions for high-net worth clients.
Qualifications:
Extensive senior level professional experience at the Managing Director level, 10+ years of experience in wealth management. At least a master's degree, or equivalent, plus CFA and CPA.

Responsibilities:
Preparation of lectures and student assignments. Teaching the class. The class is scheduled on Mondays from 5:15 to 8pm during the fall semester. Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours. Meeting all designated class periods. Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations and school/college-level policies. Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner. Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty members.
