Head Start-Early Head Start Home-Based Educator – Winona

JOB STATUS:
Semcac Head Start is seeking a dedicated and compassionate year-round, full-time, 36-hour-per-week Early Head Start Home-Based Educator to support infants, toddlers, and their families through a relationship-based home-visiting model. This position focuses on promoting school readiness, strengthening parent-child relationships, and supporting family well-being.

LOCATION:

Winona, MN

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly home visits with enrolled families using a research-based curriculum
• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers (prenatal–3 years)
• Support parents as their child’s primary teacher through coaching and collaboration
• Conduct screenings and ongoing assessments of child development
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards
• Partner with families to set goals and connect them with community resources
• Participate in professional development and reflective supervision

COMPENSATION: $. Higher starting rates are available for those with 10 or more years of direct experience.
