The Manager, US AMC Spine Education is a field‑based role with the option for remote work. The role leads the development and execution of spine‑focused education programs for healthcare professionals across Academic Medical Centers (AMCs) in the United States. This position supports improving clinical knowledge, patient outcomes, and adoption of innovative spine technologies, while shaping learning strategies, partnering with clinicians, and driving excellence in professional education.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and execution of spine education programs aligned with U.S. commercial and clinical strategies.
- Develop and deliver training content, including procedural education and product application for spine‑focused professionals.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs to align education initiatives with business objectives.
- Identify educational gaps and implement targeted programs to address evolving clinical and product training needs.
- Plan and manage educational events such as workshops, cadaver labs, symposia, and training courses.
- Collaborate with AMCs and key opinion leaders to deliver high‑impact education experiences.
- Analyze program effectiveness using key metrics and implement continuous improvements.
- Ensure all programs and materials meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Incorporate innovative learning approaches, including digital tools and simulation‑based training.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross‑functional coordination for education initiatives.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, Education, or related field).
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, or related discipline) preferred.
- Experience and Skills:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in medical education, commercial training, or healthcare program management.
- Experience supporting or delivering education programs for healthcare professionals, ideally in orthopedics or spine.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clinical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience using performance metrics to inform decisions.
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Preferred:
- Experience in spine or orthopedic medical device education.
- Familiarity with AMCs and healthcare provider training environments.
- Experience planning and executing hands‑on training events such as labs and workshops.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Experience with digital learning platforms and innovative education technologies.
- Experience working with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in education programs.
- Other:
- No specific language requirements.
- Travel up to 25–35% (primarily domestic).
- Certifications in project management, education, or related fields preferred.
Base salary: $102,000 – $204,000.
