JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSPenn State Abington’s Business Program invites applications for adjunct instructor appointments in Management Information Systems beginning in August 2026 through December 2026
. Continuation beyond this period is possible.
- MIS 250 - Introduction to Problem Solving with Spreadsheet Analysis and Information Systems Management. Classes can be held in-person and via Zoom with an asynchronous web session weekly (50% in person/Zoom, 50% asynchronous web).
- MIS 431 - Business Data Management. Classes can be held in-person and via Zoom with an asynchronous web session weekly (50% in person/Zoom, 50% asynchronous web).
Students from other Penn State campuses may be accessing these courses.
QUALIFICATIONS- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Doctoral degree in a business-related discipline; ABD and Master’s level candidates will be considered.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduates is highly desirable; relevant professional work experience is valuable.
- Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to helping all students succeed through engagement in and out of the classroom.
