Position Overview
Concorde Education is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Coordinator – Quality Assurance to support the successful delivery of educational enrichment programs across Visalia Unified School District.
This is an entry‑level administrative and program support role designed for someone who is organized, reliable, school‑facing, and committed to maintaining high‑quality student programming. The Assistant Program Coordinator will work directly under the Program Coordinator and will help monitor program quality through campus visits, instructor observations, data collection, reporting, and follow‑up support.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in school environments, communicating professionally with instructors and site staff, observing classroom/program delivery, identifying areas for improvement, and helping ensure that Concorde programs are running smoothly, safely, and consistently across multiple campuses.
This is a hybrid role, with remote administrative work typically taking place during morning hours and required on‑campus presence during after‑school programming or other scheduled program activities. While working remotely, the Assistant Program Coordinator must remain fully accessible and responsive to the Program Coordinator and Concorde team.
Key Responsibilities Program Quality Assurance- Visit assigned Visalia Unified school campuses to observe Concorde programs during after‑school activities and other scheduled program times.
- Shadow instructors and observe program delivery, student engagement, classroom environment, pacing, preparedness, and overall instructional quality.
- Collect observation notes and program data to help evaluate program effectiveness.
- Identify areas where instructors may need support, coaching, clarification, or additional materials.
- Help generate improvement plans when program quality concerns are identified.
- Follow up on improvement plans as directed by the Program Coordinator.
- Support consistent implementation of Concorde expectations across campuses.
- Serve as a visible and professional Concorde representative while on campus.
- Provide support to instructors when needed, including helping with materials, logistics, student transitions, or classroom routines.
- Model professional conduct, appropriate student interaction, and strong campus presence.
- Help instructors understand program expectations and site‑specific procedures.
- Support the distribution, organization, and tracking of program supplies and materials.
- Serve as an emergency substitute instructor when no other substitute can be secured.
- Step into programs as needed to prevent cancellations and maintain continuity for students and schools.
- Follow provided curriculum, lesson plans, and site expectations when covering a class.
- Communicate any substitute coverage issues or program concerns to the Program Coordinator.
- Assist with maintaining positive relationships with school administrators, site directors, and district staff.
- Participate in campus check‑ins with school staff as directed by the Program Coordinator.
- Attend district or school meetings when requested.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with school‑based staff.
- Share relevant school feedback, concerns, or requests with the Program Coordinator.
- Provide regular reports to the Program Coordinator based on campus observations, instructor performance, program status, and school feedback.
- Maintain a weekly calendar of planned campus visits, meetings, observations, and support activities.
- Track assigned follow‑up items and help ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with program documentation, data collection, and internal reporting.
- Remain accessible and responsive during remote work periods.
- Complete other administrative and program support tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
This is a full‑time Monday–Friday position. The role is hybrid, with a combination of remote administrative work and required in‑person campus support.
