In a partner high school in Wisconsin, you will deliver student support during 20 hrs/week. The position is remote with on‑site commitments four times a week, and team meetings 2–3 times monthly. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Stevens Point, WI.
Primary Responsibilities- Guide and educate students toward academic, personal, and professional development.
- Collaborate with partner institution staff, faculty, and administration on student success and persistence.
- Promote and develop student engagement, academic success strategies, experiential learning, and other high‑impact activities.
- Teach college‑preparatory classes for 40+ students at the partner high‑school campus.
- Ensure students consistently receive high‑quality services and meet partner needs.
- Provide 1‑on‑1 coaching to develop students’ college plans.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of each student’s interests, needs, and backgrounds.
- Perform follow‑up parent/student phone calls.
- Lead student recruitment at schools in your portfolio, including sessions, interviews, and welcoming students into the program.
- Collect, organize, and maintain student and program documents.
- Provide mid‑year and end‑year progress reports for all students.
- Coordinate with the College Success Team to provide college transition services to graduating seniors.
- Submit weekly timesheets, monthly reports, self‑evaluations, supervisor evaluations, and other documentation as required.
- Attend required programmatic and community service events.
- Track and record student progress using quantitative and qualitative measures.
- Enter and maintain current student data in CoPilot, a Salesforce‑based CRM.
- Utilize existing and create and run reports to identify and respond to students needing additional support and to detect trends in student progress.
- Utilize caseload management strategies including technologies, collaborations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and/or Director to identify and develop Access Program initiatives and growth.
- Meet regularly with the Program Manager and full College Possible Wisconsin Program Team to help develop and support organizational initiatives.
- Provide Director support as needed and/or assigned.
- Collaborate and participate in events and activities, providing logistics support and connecting with guests, supporters, board members, and students.
- Represent and promote College Possible positively to increase organizational awareness throughout the community.
- Provide support and complete other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social or human sciences, business, or other related fields required.
- 1–3 years of teaching, mentoring, advising, and/or coaching college students or related roles, demonstrating a commitment to the power of education.
- Development of effective, targeted text, email, and in‑person college student communications.
- Collaboration and partnership building demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and adaptation to changing situations and environments.
- Finding, reading, comprehending, utilizing, and presenting information effectively and efficiently.
- Written and in‑person communications with professional teams.
- Presentations to small and large groups, showing effective speaking, engagement, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, as well as Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, etc.).
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to stand and/or sit for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
- Mobility to move across campuses and/or travel to College Possible site as needed.
Rate: $23 per hour, 20 hrs/week. This is a remote position with on‑site presence required four times weekly and team meetings 2–3 times monthly. The role is not benefits eligible.
