We're hiring for an all-natural supplement brand that generated US $5M in revenue during its first year and is now on track to surpass US $40M+ in its second year.

We need one direct-response copywriter to own the concepts, leads, and scripts that scale our Meta spend from US $2M/month to US $5M/month+ over the next 12 months.

This is a writing seat. If "lead," "mechanism," "awareness level," and "VSL" are words you already use without thinking, keep reading. If they're new to you, this isn't your role yet.

You'll work directly with me. 5 years in e-commerce, US $100M+ in Meta spend across bootstrapped brands, built and exited a brand for 7 figures in under 18 months. I'm in the weeds on this business every day. You get founder access, real ownership over the copy, and feedback from someone who has actually deployed nine figures of ad budget.

I’ve also built and continue to operate a DTC brand that reached a US $160M+ annual revenue run rate in just 2.5 years
. Today, we manage a portfolio of multiple fast-growing DTC brands.

Your job is the words that sell. You decide what we make and why, then you write it: the hook, the lead, the script, the angle. Editors and UGC creators turn your scripts into finished assets, so you stay on the part that moves conversion. Every ad we ship starts as your copy. Every winner compounds.

This is a base with uncapped-upside role. We pay people based on the wins they create.

What you can earn

First 90 days:
Guaranteed higher base salary regardless of performance. We invest in your ramp so you can focus on learning the brand and shipping your first wins. Finish the ramp faster and you move to uncapped earnings earlier. Your speed sets the timeline.

After 90 days
  • Lower base, uncapped tiered % of monthly Meta ad spend kicks in
  • At our current trajectory, top performers in this seat track to USD $130K–300K+ in year‑one total comp
  • No cap. If you 2x our spend, you 2x your earnings with it.

If you want a comfortable salary that pays the same whether you ship 5 concepts or 50, stop reading. If you want your earnings tied directly to the wins you create, keep going.

What you'll do

Drive growth on our Meta ad account by writing high‑converting leads, scripts, and angles, then using the data to compound the winners.

  • Write the copy: Leads, hooks, scripts, VSLs, and advertorials that hold a mechanism and convert. This is the core of the seat.
  • Competitor & market research: Live in the Meta Ad Library and Tik Tok. Break down what's working in our category and adjacent ones, and understand why at the structural level.
  • Concept development: Generate angles and storylines grounded in real consumer insight, mapped to awareness level and market sophistication. You start from a hypothesis.
  • Brief production: Translate your script into a brief so clear the editor executes it without guessing. This is where copy becomes a finished ad, and where most writers get sloppy.
  • Data‑driven iteration: Analyze CTR, hook rate, hold rate, ROAS. Kill what's not working. Double down on what is.
  • Variants at volume: Take winners and ship new hooks, leads, VSL cuts, and advertorial reformats alongside every net new concept, without waiting to see if the first one wins.
  • Pipeline ownership: Run the creative pipeline end‑to‑end in Airtable.

We'll train you on the data and Meta side. The direct‑response instinct is on you.

Who you are

The non‑negotiables:

  • Direct‑response writer first. You're fluent in awareness levels, market sophistication, and hook / lead / mechanism / proof / offer architecture. You can write a lead that stops the scroll and a script that converts, and you can say out loud why it works. Your brief is clean enough that the ad comes back the way you wrote it.
  • Taste. Strong, defensible opinions on what's good and bad. You can name 3 brands whose ads you'd steal from and 3 you think are wasting money. And explain why.
  • Pattern recognition. You can study 50 winning ads and tell us what they have in common. You see the structural…
