Hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week and a minimum of three days onsite at our headquarters in Little Canada, Minnesota. This position also requires onsite presence to host professional development sessions and support educator use of the workshop space, including occasional evenings and Saturdays.

Position SummaryAs KINF expands its support for educators, we are seeking a motivated, organized, and experienced professional to lead and grow our Educator Professional Development program in Minnesota. This role is responsible for coordinating high-quality learning experiences, coordinating onsite workshop space usage, and ensuring the seamless planning, scheduling, and delivery of professional development offerings for educators. The position will also support partnership development, facilitator coordination, and continuous improvement of learning experiences to maximize impact for educators statewide.
The Educator Professional Development Coordinator will identify the learning needs of educators in KINF‑qualifying schools and develop accessible, relevant programming that supports educator effectiveness and retention. Offerings will align with Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) licensure renewal requirements while also reflecting topics prioritized by educators, including classroom management, student mental health, trauma‑informed practices, teacher well‑being, inclusive instruction, family engagement, and the integration of technology and AI.
This role also serves as the primary point of contact for educator use of KINF’s workshop space and plays a key role in building partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and other stakeholders to strengthen educator networks and expand program reach.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the planning and execution of an annual professional development calendar aligned to the school year.
- Identify and prioritize training topics based on educator needs, feedback, and organizational goals.
- Coordinate the design and delivery of high-quality professional development sessions, including logistics and facilitation support.
- Recruit, vet, and collaborate with qualified presenters and subject matter experts.
- Develop registration processes and manage participant enrollment.
- Create marketing and outreach materials to drive educator engagement.
- Design and implement evaluation tools; analyze feedback to improve programming and measure impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, school leaders, and district partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for educator use of KINF’s workshop space.
- Manage the workshop calendar, reservation system, and related communications.
- Coordinate logistics for all sessions, including space setup, materials, technology, and supplies.
- Partner with internal teams and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of events and workshops.
- Build and manage relationships with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and mission‑aligned partners.
