• Provide one‑on‑one or small group tutoring sessions to high school and/or college students both online and in person.
• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Reliably commute from client to client.
• ACT/SAT experience preferred.
• Applicants capable of tutoring STEM courses in addition to the above humanities courses will receive special consideration.

• English writing and literature
• College essays

• Social studies
• Foreign languages – high need for Spanish, French, and Italian

• At least 2 years of high school and/or college tutoring experience.
• Previous experience working with students, preferably in a high school and/or college setting.
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
