Options for Youth (OFY) is a network of free, non‑profit public charter schools offering a flexible, personalized learning approach. The organization has served over 135,000 students for more than 35 years, focusing on at‑risk and underserved students who need alternative learning environments.

Job type:
Classified. Hourly pay: $21.14 – $26.29 per hour, depending on experience.

• Provide tutoring and instruction to students within a small classroom environment and/or one‑on‑one.
• Post and market availability of tutoring along with schedule.
• Maintain a consistent schedule as arranged with supervisor.
• Provide support to teachers as needed.
• Create a tracking system that indicates student appointment times, progress, and areas of improvement.
• Communicate with teachers to support students who need additional support in the designated subject area.

• Proficient in the designated subject.
• Previous tutoring experience preferred.
• Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft software.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

OFY is a free, non‑profit public charter school serving grades 7‑12 who have fallen behind and seek to advance or graduate early, or desire a non‑traditional learning environment. Its blended learning model allows students, teachers and families to design individualized plans based on strengths, weaknesses, college and career goals and outside‑of‑school schedule.
