Job Description
We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSSS 550 – Space Transportation Systems.
Course DescriptionThe course focuses on critical decisions needed to manage complex space transportation programs. It emphasizes space transportation as the foundation of all space programs and examines how transportation presents unique cost, engineering, and operational challenges for all space systems.
ResponsibilitiesManage successful programs through skills, tools, and knowledge to effectively lead dynamic space transportation programs and reduce barriers to entry in the future.
RequirementsAll adjuncts must be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. We support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations except for individuals residing and working from U.S. military bases. When selected, the candidate must provide proof of qualifications, including official transcripts, copies of professional licenses or certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.
Qualifications- Professional Certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP) (required) - Desired Professional Training or
Experience:
Industry, military, or university training or experience in space operations development or management, including manufacturing, operations, finance, or entrepreneurship. - Degrees:
Within the teaching discipline – Management, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Engineering (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical), or Science (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical).
