Management Online Short-Term Teaching Position - UMC Business Division
This is a short-term and/or temporary online Management teaching position for the University of Minnesota – Crookston Campus’s Business Department for the academic year. This position is based on enrollment. There is a possibility this course and any short-term teaching position will not be taught during the semester or academic year based on enrollment needs.
Job Duties- Develop and teach courses
- Advise students with regard to academic concerns and school-related organizations
- May provide service related teaching duties
- Participate in the decision relation to the policies, courses, and programs which there is involvement
- Continuing personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field and broaden knowledge and expertise
- Master’s Degree, preferably in the teaching discipline
- Or, Master’s Degree in another field, plus 18 graduate credits in the teaching discipline
- A terminal degree in the discipline or related area is preferred
- Professional and/or teaching experience related to assigned instructional responsibilities
- Candidates must be willing to demonstrate self-awareness, cultural competencies, and achievement in working with diverse student populations
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Candidates must be eligible to work within the United States
Pay Range: $1300-$1500 per credit based on experience, course, and enrollment; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications.
