Job Description

Laowai Caree is acting as a commission agency for China International School and is recruiting subject teachers. The role is for teachers who have experience in A-level, IB, AP, VCE, BC and other international curriculum systems.

Subject teachers currently being recruited include: economics, business, art, drama, mathematics, sports, chemistry, biology, environmental science, computer science, psychology, history, literature, physics, and accounting.

• Weekly schedule:
  Monday to Friday
• Student age group: 13‑18 years old
• Class size: 10‑20 students per class
• Weekly workload:
  Approximately 22 classes per week
• Contract length: 2 years
• Probation period: 2 months

• Major relevant to the subject you teach or education.
• At least 2 years of related subject teaching experience on IGCSE, A‑Level, IB, AP, VCE, BC, or equivalent curriculum.
• QTS/PGCE or PGCEI highly desirable.
• Age 22‑55 years.
• Passionate and knowledgeable teachers of their subject.
• Committed to the pastoral provision in the school and aware of the welfare of all students.
• Committed to the co‑curricular programme, sharing with students’ area(s) of particular interest and providing academic extension and enrichment activities.
• Support preparation for recruiting or marketing events.

• Salary range: 25 000 – 40 000 ¥ per month (based on teaching experience).
• Housing allowance: provided.
• Flight allowance: 10 000 ¥ per academic year.
