** JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
** This position requires you to have received a work-study award. To verify if you have received a work-study award, please consult the Financial Aid Award Summary area in your LionPATH account. A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job is available.  The Office of Undergraduate Studies and Outreach in the College of Health and Human Development is hiring for the 26-27 Academic year and has several part-time work-study positions available in the following areas:
Center for Student Advising and Engagement, and the Associate Dean’s Office. Hours can vary up to 15 hours per week.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Customer service
* Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
* General office support
* Support for student events
* And other duties as assigned

Requirements and qualifications:
* Must have excellent customer service skills
* High level of reliability and responsibility
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Current progress towards completing a Bachelor’s degree
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Must have a current federal work-study grant  The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.  Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a job and perform related duties either on campus, or remotely, if possible and at the discretion of the employer.  

Students applying for Federal Work Study positions should clarify expectations with their potential employer regarding either on campus/in person or remote work arrangements.
