Chemistry Peer Facilitator

Salary/Position Classification

• $13.00-$14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 3-5 hours per week

This is a part‑time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Successful applicants will be required to work closely with students.

• Proctoring of exams
• Work closely with students during either CHEM 115 or CHEM 116 class time as a peer facilitator

• Excellent communication skills
• A solid understanding of Introductory Chemistry
• Ability to work in a directed yet unsupervised manner
• A conscientious work ethic
• Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time
• Completed a 200-level chemistry course with a B or better
• Have an overall GPA over 3.0 or better
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• Experience and proficiency as a teaching assistant.
