Adjunct Faculty – Digital Media; On-Campus | Remote

Adjunct Instructor Positions Available

Greenville University is seeking passionate, creative, and student-focused adjunct instructors to teach courses within our growing Digital Media program. We are primarily seeking instructors who can teach on campus in a face-to-face environment, creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students. However, we also recognize exceptional talent comes from many locations and will consider outstanding remote candidates with a proven record of excellence in teaching and industry practice.

Courses may include:

• Web Page Design
• Digital Photography
• Digital Video Production
• Animation
• Digital Art
• Other Digital Media courses based on expertise and program needs

About the Opportunity

As an Adjunct Instructor, you will help prepare the next generation of creative professionals by combining industry knowledge, practical skills, and meaningful mentorship. We welcome applications from educators, designers, content creators, photographers, videographers, animators, and digital media professionals who are excited to share their expertise in a Christ-centered learning environment. This position reports to the Digital Media Program Coordinator.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Digital Media, Design, Communications, Visual Arts, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more Digital Media disciplines
• Strong teaching, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to organize and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction
• Experience using learning management systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, or similar platforms
• Commitment to continuous improvement and instructional best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Understanding of and commitment to Greenville University's mission and the value of Christian higher education

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous college-level teaching experience
• Professional experience in creative, digital, or media-related industries
• Experience teaching in both in-person and online environments

Location & Teaching Format

Our strongest need is for instructors who can teach on campus in Greenville, Illinois, where students benefit from hands-on collaboration, studio-based learning, and direct faculty engagement. That said, we know great educators can make an impact from anywhere. Exceptional candidates who are only available to teach remotely are encouraged to apply. Compensation

The regular undergraduate adjunct rate for courses with enrollments of 10 or more students is $1,000 per credit hour ($3,000 per 3 credit class on avg). Compensation may vary based on course enrollment and program needs.
