Program Director, Alpha

Traditional elementary schools reduce expectations when students face challenges. You do the opposite. You know that six-year-olds can achieve far beyond what conventional classrooms demand, and you have used measurable outcomes to demonstrate this repeatedly.

Alpha operates on a two-hour learning framework. Adaptive software handles academic instruction each morning, freeing your schedule for the work that truly transforms children: building motivation, teaching life skills, providing coaching, and enforcing accountability. You directly manage a cohort of K-3 learners while coaching the Guides—Alpha's name for the adults who inspire and coach students—who oversee their day‑to‑day progress. You remain directly involved every day rather than directing from a remote office.

Your typical workday alternates among three core activities. You review performance metrics and Coachbot analytics to identify students and Guides who need support. You conduct coaching sessions that equip people with concrete next actions rather than general encouragement. And you lead workshops for groups of five‑to‑nine‑year‑olds on topics like public speaking, maintaining focus, or how to give and receive feedback.

When you identify effective strategies, you document them. The playbooks you create set the benchmark that all other Guides follow, expanding your influence from a single cohort to the entire grade level. Demonstrating your ability to scale this level of excellence is the pathway to greater leadership responsibility here.

• Coaching both Guides and students through performance data analysis, classroom observation, and direct feedback, then holding each group accountable to defined, measurable objectives
• Leading one‑hour live workshops for K-3 students covering life skills including public speaking, focus, collaboration, resilience, accountability, and feedback exchange
• Conducting individual and small‑group motivational sessions that link each child's personal goals and interests to tangible academic achievement
• Developing and refining playbooks that translate your most effective practices into replicable systems other Guides can implement reliably
• Training Guides on these playbooks and demonstrating excellence in facilitation to maintain standards as the team expands

• Providing direct academic instruction or lecturing from the front of a classroom; adaptive apps handle content delivery while you focus on coaching people
• Reducing expectations in response to student difficulties
• Managing remotely in the manner of instructional coaches or principals; you remain embedded with your cohort every day
• Managing the full campus budget, operations, and parent relations; a Campus Lead handles those responsibilities so you can concentrate on student and Guide performance
• Advocating for traditional teaching approaches or adhering to a standard K-12 curriculum

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with elementary‑aged children (approximately ages 5 to
  9)
• Experience leading a team of 5 or more individuals, with hiring and termination authority based on performance results
• Experience building, launching, or substantially growing a program, team, school, or initiative from scratch, rather than managing an established one
• Comfortable operating in a school environment that rejects conventional teaching methods
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
