Remote Technical Trainer

The Remote Technical Trainer will develop and conduct technical end-user training programs for the NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) tool suite on behalf of a government customer. The candidate will educate users on AMS tool sets and how to manage visualizations/reports within the system. They will determine training objectives, develop high-quality training materials, and deliver varied-format end-user training sessions for audiences with diverse computer skills and sizes—from small private sessions to large symposiums.

The Technical Trainer will regularly interface with technical SMEs (e.g., developers, web designers, system administrators, and application experts).

This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

• Course Development: Develop high-quality training plans and course schedules.
• Design and implement training programs that are goal-focused, scalable, and adaptable for both in-person and distance learning environments.
• Translate broad training objectives into effective, structured course plans and schedules.
• Deliver training programs/modules in accordance with a prearranged training plan.
• Ensure alignment of course content with organizational needs and learner profiles.
• Develop high-quality engaging, outcome-driven course materials such as handouts, outlines, syllabi, and agendas that support learner success.

• Deliver in-depth technical end-user training using formats including instructor-led demonstrations, computer-lab-based sessions, distance/virtual formats, and 1-on-1 sessions.
• Tailor training techniques to maximize learner engagement with interactive approaches.
• Continuously refine training delivery based on user feedback, learning outcomes, and evolving technologies.

• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts and government stakeholders to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable training content and support materials.
• Support the development of end-user application guides and materials compliant with style, structure, and content guidelines.
• Contribute to the governance of training materials through version control and change management processes.

• Minimum of 4 years’ training or education experience, including training users on web-based IT systems.
• Training module development and delivery.
• Training materials and courseware development.

• Bachelor’s Degree or 1 additional year of experience for each year without a degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is one…
