Overview
Florida Cyber Charter Academy (FLCCA), a Stride K12 partner school, is seeking a full-time online teacher. This role requires a Florida 5 Year Professional Elementary Teaching Certificate, plus ESOL and Reading Endorsements. The position offers a base salary of $47,500 with eligibility for a performance bonus.

July 2026.
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Personalize learning to meet the needs of all students and maintain high expectations.
- Differentiates instruction based on student mastery levels.
- Augment course content according to policies and procedures using asynchronous and synchronous tools under guidance from principal and coach.
- Maintain grade book, manage student placement and promotion decisions, and alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress.
- Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families; communicate with students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner.
- Support learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional issues and provide basic troubleshooting in a virtual classroom per academy policies.
- Travel as required for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and other school needs (approximately 20% of the time, about once per month).
- Bachelor;s degree.
- Active state teaching license.
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Experience with the proposed age group.
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.
- Experience teaching in online and/or brick-and-mortar environments.
- Experience with online learning platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with other teachers to interpret and present student data and drive instructional decisions.
- Willingness to receive coaching from administrators and teacher trainers and adapt to ensure strong student outcomes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Ability to maintain teacher certification and ongoing professional development hours; fluency with K12 systems, programs, and curriculum.
This position is virtual, with occasional travel for meetings, testing, and professional development. A suitable home office setup is required to perform duties during standard work hours (e.g., 9:00–5:00 or 8:00–4:00, as defined by the school).
