EPIC IT Trainer, Cadence & Grand – Remote

Job Summary

Non-Clinical position with eStar Training. Facilitates and delivers virtual instructor‑led training (VILT) primarily focused on Epic Cadence & Grand Central applications. The role is heavily presentation‑focused, leading training sessions 4–5 days per week, guiding learners through workflows, and supporting end‑user adoption. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining class rosters, monitoring attendance, communicating with trainers and end users, and supporting overall training operations. This role does not focus on training content development.

Hours:

Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm CST.

• Deliver orientation, onboarding, and career ladder pathway training for all staff.
• Administer classroom evaluations and provide course updates to management.
• Use software programs to develop learning materials.
• Apply adult learning strategies and instructional techniques to optimize learning.
• Ensure all material is current and distribute updated material to participants.
• Train all necessary classes, including some weekend and after‑hours sessions.
• Follow all required facilitator notes and procedures.
• Consult as needed for special projects involving computerized applications or processes that affect patient care or new implementation.
• Collaborate within the department and organization.

• Minimum 2years of Cadence & Grand Central experience in a training setting.
• Minimum 2years of experience delivering VILT.
• Minimum 2years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Microsoft Teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Healthcare industry experience and billing/revenue‑cycle management experience.
• Epic system experience.
• Experience creating and editing instructional content using Camtasia.
• Ability to become cross‑trained to facilitate all assigned classes.
