The College is seeking part-time non-credit lecturerswhoare passionate about inspiring and educating the next generation of Language learners and professionals. Under the supervision of the Director or designee, the non-credit lecturer is accountable for the effective performance in these essential duties:

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards
• Evaluating and assessing student learning outcomes
• Providing student support, mentoring, and academic advising
• Developing curriculum and periodically reviewing and updating instructional materials

• Bachelor’s degreein TESOL, English/Composition, Linguistics, Foreign Language, or Education.
• Two (2) years of teaching college level ESL courses.
• Prior experience in Course work for adult education certification in ESLorCertificate in TESOL
• Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab environment.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Additional qualifications may be requested, as relevant to the academic department.

• MastersinTESOL, Applied Linguistics, English, Foreign Language, and two years of teaching ESL at the college/adult level. OR
• Mastersin Education with a focus on TESOL, secondary education, or adult education and two years of teaching ESL at the college/adult level
• Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non-credit training programs, particularly in short-term certificate or credential-aligned programs.
• Experience designing or delivering customized training programs (onsite, online, or hybrid).
• Knowledge of the current industry trends and workforce needs
