Rowan University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions leading online course offerings. The majority of our online courses in Psychology serve our undergraduate population.
Applicants must be committed to excellence in the online teaching of psychology and must hold at least a master’s degree.

- A cover letter or letter of interest. The letter should include the following information:
- The type of courses the applicant is interested in teaching and qualified to teach online;
- Your preferred campus(es) and general availability for teaching;
- Detailed information about previous teaching experience and qualifications in teaching college courses online;
- The names and the contact information of three references in case additional information is required.
- If the applicant wishes to submit any other supporting documents (e.g., previous student evaluations or colleague observations), they may submit them online in conjunction with the application.
- Only completed, online applications submitted on or before the deadline will be considered.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
