The volunteer Lead Application Developer will guide technical delivery, translate approved product priorities into maintainable architecture, and help other volunteer developers contribute effectively.

• Review the existing application architecture, repositories, environments, dependencies, and technical debt
• Break approved product priorities into documented, reviewable implementation plans
• Establish coding, testing, review, branching, release, and documentation practices
• Mentor volunteer developers and coordinate work without bypassing product or security approval
• Build or review high-impact application features and integrations
• Protect participant data and apply least-privilege, secure-development, and privacy-by-design practices
• Coordinate accessibility, quality assurance, security review, deployment, monitoring, and rollback readiness
• Document decisions, risks, dependencies, and handoff requirements
• Never deploy to production or access sensitive data without explicit authorization

• Senior experience building and maintaining production web or mobile applications
• Strong JavaScript or Type Script, API, database, testing,…
