Pay Range: $2,084.07 - $2,146.59 per credit hour
Pay Determination:
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months' salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description:
COU
644 Counseling Prepracticum (3 Credits) School of Education Introduction to counseling skills and techniques, including assessment, relationship building, goal setting, and therapeutic intervention. Extensive use of video and audio taping of role-played counseling interactions. Permission of instructor.
Qualifications:
Doctorate (or ABD) in counselor education is required.

Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge related to the review of theory, history, and practice of career counseling. Emphasis should be placed on the study of techniques and interventions appropriate for use in a variety of career counseling settings such as schools, colleges, and community agencies.
Responsibilities:
The instructor is required to: meet weekly with students for class (i.e. group supervision), develop and execute lesson plans, provide feedback on students' counseling recordings, provide feedback on student process notes, provide formative and summative feedback to students, complete written evaluations, and communicate with site supervisors and program coordinators as necessary.
