Salem State University invites applications for a full-time, temporary faculty position in Special Education beginning in Spring 2027. Dutiesand Responsibilities
Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract. Duties include teaching, advising, scholarship and contributions to continuously improve the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is subject to available funding.
Required Qualifications- Evidence-based instructional practices, materials, and methods for teaching students with moderate disabilities
- Literacy instruction for students with disabilities
- Diagnostic and educational assessment for students with disabilities
- Development, interpretation, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Autism spectrum disorder, including school-based and home-based interventions, collaboration with families, and advocacy for students with autism
This is an on-site position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities.
