The Online English Teacher at Lingua Pro is a contract, on-site role based in Home, KS, delivering live virtual lessons from this location. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching engaging English lessons tailored to individual and group learners, covering general English, business communication, exam preparation, and conversational practice. The teacher will assess learner levels, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to support skill development and confidence.

Additional tasks include preparing digital teaching materials, maintaining accurate lesson records, and collaborating with Lingua Pro staff to ensure a consistent learner experience. The role requires reliable attendance, professional communication with learners and colleagues, and adherence to Lingua Pro’s teaching standards and guidelines.

• Strong English language proficiency, with excellent grammar, pronunciation, and written communication skills.
• Experience teaching English as a second or foreign language, preferably in online or blended learning environments.
• Ability to design and deliver structured lessons for general English, business communication, and exam preparation.
• Skill in engaging learners of different ages and levels, including children and adult professionals.
• Comfort with using video conferencing tools, digital teaching platforms, and online classroom resources.
• Organizational skills to manage lesson planning, scheduling, and accurate learner progress documentation.
• Clear, respectful, and inclusive communication style, with a learner-centered approach and cultural sensitivity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or similar certification preferred.
• Reliable internet access and appropriate workspace suitable for professional online teaching.
• Previous experience preparing learners for standardized English exams (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge) is an advantage.
