Student Success and Apprenticeship Specialist

Job Overview

The University of Alaska Southeast School of Education is seeking a Student Success and Apprenticeship Specialist to support future educators throughout their academic journey. This position plays a key role in student advising, degree completion, and the coordination of innovative registered apprenticeship pathways that help address Alaska's educator workforce needs.

As a member of a collaborative and student-centered team, you will work closely with students, faculty, school districts, and community partners to support student success from admission through graduation. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape emerging apprenticeship programs while also contributing to accreditation and assessment efforts that strengthen educator preparation across Alaska.

Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of progressively responsible experience in student services, academic support, advising, program coordination, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience working with students, faculty, and external partners in an educational, higher education, workforce development, or related setting is preferred.

This position is located on the University of Alaska Southeast campus in Juneau. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with a competitive salary and a full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
