This unique opportunity allows you to gain hands-on special classroom experience while completing a free master’s degree in education with a specialization in Autism through Simmons University.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct instruction to special needs students
- Support case management through data collection, lesson material development, and curriculum modification
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized learning plans
- Fellows work directly with students with autism and related disabilities to promote learning, independence, and inclusion across classroom settings
- Work closely with families to ensure consistent and supportive engagement

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- Interest in working with children or young adults with special needs

- Completion of NECC training, including CALM safety and de-escalation techniques
