Training Leader H/F
MISSIONS:
1. Development of Training Program:
Define and implement a comprehensive, structured training program covering:
Operations personnel:
Utilities & Offsites / PDH Unit / PP Unit Maintenance personnel:
Mechanical (static, rotating, piping) / Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Establish training matrices aligned with:
Job roles and responsibilities Competency requirements Project phases (construction, commissioning, start-up, operation) Integrate:
Classroom training / On-the-job training (OJT) Simulator-based training (if applicable) / Vendor/OEM training
2. Trainer Sourcing and Management:
Identify, source, and recruit qualified discipline trainers in:
Operations (PDH, PP, Utilities) Mechanical and Piping Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Evaluate trainer qualifications and ensure alignment with plant technologies and standards Manage trainer performance and delivery quality
3. Training Material Development:
Ensure timely preparation and validation of training modules, including:
Operating procedures Maintenance procedures System descriptions Equipment manuals Oversee the development, validation and timely availability of all training materials:
Classroom modules / Technical manuals / Simulator-based training (if applicable) / OJT (On-the-Job Training) procedures Assessment tools and certification pathways Standardize training content across disciplines Ensure consistency with: EPC documentation Licensor documentation OEM manuals Implement document control and version management for training materials
4. Coordination with EPC, Licensors and OEMs:
Interface with EPC Contractor to:
Align training schedule with project milestones Ensure availability of engineering and vendor documentation Coordinate training programs with licensors such as: UOP (PDH technology) Lyondell Basell (PP technology) Plan and monitor OEM/vendor training sessions:
Site training during installation and commissioning Ensure training deliverables are completed prior to start-up 5. Competency Assessment & Evaluation:
Develop and implement a competency assessment framework, including:
Written examinations Practical assessments On-the-job evaluations Define competency criteria for each role and discipline Track individual progress and certification status Identify skill gaps and implement corrective training plans Prepare readiness reports for:
Commissioning / Start-up Operational handover
6. Integration with HR & Operations:
Work closely with HR and recruitment teams to ensure training readiness prior to mobilization Support workforce planning through alignment with the Manpower Loading Plan Interface with technical teams to ensure training reflects real operational needs and equipment specifics
CONTRACT TERMS & MOBILITY:
Local employment contract within an international group entity or freelance contract depending on profile Full remote during the preparation phase with missions in Cergy (France) and abroad at contract start for spot missions overseas Expected final project outcome:
Fully deployed Training & Competency Framework aligned with operational needs All personnel trained, certified and compliant before start of operations A sustainable training system ensuring long-term operational excellence Full integration of training data into HR and ERP systems
