The Coordinator of Counseling Services provides leadership, supervision, and support for the school counseling and social work programs to ensure students receive high-quality academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and college and career readiness services. This role promotes effective service delivery, supports staff development, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational expectations. Through collaboration with students, families, school leaders, and community partners, the Coordinator helps remove barriers to learning and advances student well-being, engagement, and success.

The Coordinator utilizes data-informed decision making and continuous improvement practices to strengthen counseling services and student outcomes across the organization.

This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work independently for approximately 40 hours per week. A professional, distraction-free home office during the workday is required. Core hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, while allowing for some flexibility as determined by school needs. Salary range: $70,000-$85,000 base salary. Residency Requirement:
Resident of Pennsylvania; residents of other states will be considered on a case by case basis.

Essential Functions:

• Provides direct supervision, coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to school counselors, social workers, and assigned student support personnel to promote professional growth, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.
• Oversees the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive counseling and student support programs that address academic, social-emotional, behavioral, college, career, and postsecondary readiness needs.
• Ensures counseling, social work, and student support services are aligned with organizational priorities, student needs, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Collaborates with principals, academic leaders, student services personnel, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement a unified vision for student success, engagement, wellness, and school improvement.
• Leads the implementation and continuous improvement of graduation planning processes and monitors student progress toward graduation requirements.
• Oversees course selection, academic planning, and student scheduling processes in collaboration with counselors, administrators, and academic teams.
• Provides leadership for postsecondary readiness initiatives, including college planning, career exploration, FAFSA completion, scholarship awareness, college applications, and transition planning.
• Collaborates with K-12 teams to support career exploration, workforce readiness, and postsecondary preparation initiatives that align with organizational goals and student outcomes.
• Oversees the administration, analysis, and utilization of social-emotional learning (SEL) screening data to identify student needs, monitor trends, and develop targeted interventions and support groups.
• Utilizes attendance, engagement, behavioral, SEL, graduation, and student support data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
• Develops and facilitates professional learning, training, resources, and coaching related to counseling services, mental health, student wellness, attendance, MTSS, crisis response, and student support best practices.
• Supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), intervention processes, attendance initiatives, and student success planning efforts.
• Collaborates with families, educators, administrators, and community agencies to remove barriers to learning and coordinate comprehensive supports for students.
• Provides leadership and guidance in resolving complex student, family, attendance, social-emotional, behavioral, and service-delivery concerns.
• Oversees the development, implementation, monitoring, and compliance of Section 504 plans and processes in collaboration with school teams and families.
• Supports Act 1 processes and other student support procedures to ensure timely identification, intervention, documentation, and compliance.
