Job Description & How to Apply Below

You've already taken something from concept to scale. You're now looking for your next meaningful challenge—one with real stakes and moral purpose. If you're convinced the U.S. education system is failing gifted students in unacceptable ways, and you're prepared to act on that conviction, this role is worth your attention.  t.school is redesigning schooling for high-potential learners. Our 2 Hour Learning approach condenses the academic curriculum into concentrated, mastery-driven sessions—creating space for students to engage with meaningful challenges.

Our next step is to establish a physical model campus that provides what's been missing: leadership development, competitive peer environments, a performance-oriented culture, and genuine community. In this role, you will oversee the design, validation, and public launch of the model campus—with the aim of establishing it as the blueprint for a national expansion. You'll also continue developing our virtual GT Anywhere program alongside the existing team.

This involves piloting real-world programming, cultivating parent demand, embedding lasting culture, and creating scalable operational frameworks. We're looking for someone with founder-level drive and standing. Someone who knows that vision without execution is meaningless. Someone who can transform a clear perspective into a school that parents advocate for—and students are eager to join.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Creating and piloting scalable programs beyond the academic scope—centered on leadership development, independence, and competitive engagement
  • Establishing and validating a physical model campus, including operational frameworks, staffing structures, and facility design
  • Crafting parent-facing communications, market positioning, and expansion frameworks to support growth
  • Establishing, codifying, and scaling quality benchmarks and cultural practices for all future locations
  • Serving as the public representative of the model—building visibility through media appearances, events, and strategic partnerships
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Operating a conventional school with traditional classrooms, teachers, and full-day instruction
  • Serving families seeking watered-down gifted programs with AP courses and limited rigor
  • Leading incremental improvements within existing educational structures—we're not reforming schools, we're building an alternative
  • Pursuing shallow engagement indicators—we prioritize substantive outcomes and rigorous learning over mere activity
  • Working entirely remotely—while you'll have flexibility, you'll spend approximately 1 week per month in Austin to stay grounded in the work
Program Director

Key Responsibilities

Design, validate, and scale a high-performance model for gifted education—beginning with a single prototype campus and growing into a national network.

Basic Requirements
  • Built and scaled a high-impact venture from scratch (bonus if it involved physical operations or education). We are talking about at least 1M USD yearly revenue owned by you
  • Deep, personal understanding of gifted students—whether through family, professional experience, or lived reality
  • AI First mentality — Inclination to prioritize AI as the default solution for problem-solving, decision-making and work output generation at scale.
  • Proven ability to articulate a compelling vision and convert skeptics into believers
  • Based in the U.S., with ability to travel regularly to Austin (minimum 1 week/month)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
