The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for part-time online Facilitator positions, beginning August 2026, with options to renew on a semester-to-semester basis.

Part-time facilitators support Faculty Instructors of Record with undergraduate instruction in online courses, including, but not limited to, INF 104. Responsibilities may include assisting students with course activities, providing guidance and support, facilitating student engagement and communication, and working with the course Instructor to support student learning. Course load of up to 9 credit hours per semester, with opportunities at main campus and regional campuses, depending on need.

The successful candidate must hold at least an earned Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Informatics, or a closely related field; or a Bachelor's degree plus at least 18 graduate credit hours in CIS, MIS, Informatics, or a closely related field; by the time of appointment. Degrees must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution.

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills in working with undergraduate students, faculty, and the university community.

Review of applications will take place on a rolling basis, given instructional needs and current faculty staffing.
